Made-to-Order Production

All AlderBourn furniture is handcrafted to order in our Winterville, North Carolina workshop. Production time varies by item complexity:

• Simple items (bookshelf, small table): 4-6 weeks from order placement

• Complex items (larger furniture, custom pieces): 6-8 weeks from order placement

We will provide an estimated completion date when you place your order and keep you updated throughout the process.

Shipping Methods

Standard Shipping:

• Calculated at checkout based on item size and your location

• Typically arrives 5-10 business days after leaving our workshop

• Shipments are insured and require a signature upon delivery

White Glove Delivery (available in select areas):

• Delivery inside your home to the room of your choice

• Professional setup and packaging removal

• Available within 100 miles of Winterville, NC

• Pricing provided upon request

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to addresses within the continental United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, or international orders, please contact us at support@alderbourn.com for a shipping quote.

Order Tracking

Once your furniture ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. Most shipments include signature confirmation for security.

Delivery Inspection

Please inspect your furniture immediately upon delivery while the carrier is present. If you notice any damage:

1. Note the damage on the delivery receipt

2. Photograph the damage and packaging

3. Contact us within 48 hours at support@alderbourn.com

If damage is noted on the delivery receipt, we can file a claim with the carrier more easily.

Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is refused or cannot be delivered due to incorrect address information you provided, you are responsible for return shipping costs and any resulting damage. Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate.

Storage and Redelivery

If you are not available to receive delivery and the item is returned to the carrier's facility, storage fees may apply after 5 business days. We recommend scheduling delivery for a time when someone will be present.

Large Items and Freight

Larger furniture pieces may ship via freight carrier. Freight deliveries:

• Require someone 18+ to sign for delivery

• Are delivered to your curb or garage (not inside home unless White Glove service is selected)

• May require you to help move items from the truck (freight drivers are not required to carry items inside)
